About Us

Bryony graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2001, and has worked in in-patient rehabilitation and community settings.  Bryony has extensive experience providing services to clients with diverse diagnoses and disabilities, including palliative care, complex orthopaedic, neurological, trauma and medical/surgical and ageing-related conditions.  She has particular interest in complex environment modifications and design for disability access, including for the NDIS.  Bryony provides a variety of occupational therapy assessments and reports, such as ADL, Environmental Housing Needs and Functional Capacity Assessments etc.  Bryony is also able to provide ongoing Case Management for clients with chronic or complex needs.

Carla graduated from Sydney University in 2000 and completed a Certificate IV in Business in 2005.  Carla is a Registered Driver Assessor and Trainer, providing on- and off-road driving assessment, and prescription of vehicle modifications.  Carla has worked in adult rehabilitation for a wide range of diagnoses and disabilities, as well as hand therapy, occupational health and safety, employment retraining and manual handling.  Carla is highly skilled in environmental modifications, equipment prescription, wheelchair and seating prescriptions and ADL retraining.  Carla enjoys delivering manual handling training, completing ergonomic assessments, and working with employers and employees to facilitate a timely and safe return to work program.  Carla provides effective Case Management services, assisting clients to maximise their function, independence and quality of life.

Fiona graduated from Cumberland College in 1987, and completed a Graduate Diploma in Science in 1994.  Fiona has worked in the community with adults with a variety of diagnoses and in Occupational Health and Safety roles.  Fiona has special interest in working with clients with Low Vision, in order to maximise client independence, function and participation.  At Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services, Fiona conducts mobility and functional assessments and retraining, equipment and home modification prescription, and delivers in-home education programs for falls prevention, joint protection and poor mobility.

Correne completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2010 at the University of Western Sydney. Since graduating, she has worked with adults and children in in-patient and community settings.  She is experienced in completing home assessments, functional & ADL assessments and retraining, upper limb therapy, equipment prescription, and home modifications, in order to assist clients to achieve their individual goals.  Correne also works with children with a variety of conditions, providing comprehensive assessments, and delivering therapy to address goals related to gross and fine motor skills (including handwriting), sensory processing, social skills and performance of self-care tasks.  At Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services, Correne delivers assessments and intervention to clients of all ages in home, school, clinic and community settings across the Illawarra region.

Tracey graduated from Charles Sturt University in 1998. Since then she has worked in hospital and community settings across the health, disability and education sectors. Tracey specialises in supporting people with disability to access and participate in their valued activities of daily living.  At Facilitate OT, Tracey works with the individual and their supports to help achieve identified goals. Tracey provides assessment and prescription of Complex and Minor Home Modifications and Assistive Technology, to improve self-care, mobility and safety during functional tasks. She brings skills, knowledge and experience in independent living skills assessments and reports, and in complex seating and positioning, including for wheelchairs and vehicles.

Sally completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2011 at the University of Western Sydney. Since graduating, Sally has worked with both children and adults with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities to provide assessment and targeted intervention. She enjoys building therapeutic relationships with children and their families to assist them in reaching their individualised goals. At Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services, Sally provides Paediatric assessment and therapy services in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions, delivering both clinic- and community-based therapy options. Sally has special interest and experience in complex paediatric equipment prescription, early intervention-based therapy, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury and Developmental Disorders.

Jaimee completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2005 at the University of Newcastle. She has experience working with adults with a wide range of disabilities and health conditions.  Jaimee has worked in hospital, community and private practice settings, providing occupational, vocational and outpatient rehabilitation, driver assessment and training, and therapy for acute hospital patients.  She is experienced in completing workplace assessments and reports; home, functional & ADL assessments and reports; prescription of adaptive aids and modifications; driver assessment and rehabilitation; and assessment and intervention targeting access to IT devices for environmental controls, social interaction and communication purposes.  For Facilitate OT, Jaimee delivers assessments and intervention across the Shoalhaven and South Coast regions for adults with disability within home and community settings.

Lauren graduated from James Cook University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, and has recently relocated to Wollongong.  Since graduating, Lauren has worked with adults and children with a wide range of diagnoses and disabilities providing comprehensive assessment and intervention in in-patient, clinic, school and community settings. Lauren is highly skilled in paediatrics, completing comprehensive assessments, home and school assessments, functional & ADL assessments and retraining with a focus on fine and gross motor skills, social skills, self care skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation and play-based therapy.  At Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services, Lauren will be based out of our Corrimal clinic, providing Paediatric assessments and intervention to children of all ages in home, school, clinic and community settings across the Illawarra region. Lauren has a particular interest in complex behaviours, trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, Downs Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.

Cassie completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2017 at the Australian Catholic University.  Cassie has worked within Occupational Rehabilitation space and Community Occupational Therapy since graduating, with skills in assessments, return to work planning, ergonomic assessments, manual handling and report writing. She also has experience working within the community with clients with a range of disabilities.  Within Facilitate OT, Cassie provides services that aim to support clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.  Cassie completes functional assessments and reports, in order to identify current functioning, care/support needs and opportunities for increasing independence and functional capacity.  Cassie’s intervention may include prescription of assistive technology, including wheelchairs and seating systems, and/or home modifications, as well as training in task-modification and other adaptive strategies to improve functional performance.

Victoria graduated from Western Sydney University in 2021. Victoria has experience working with children and adults with a variety of psychological and physical disabilities in community settings, inpatient rehabilitation, and occupational rehabilitation settings.  

At Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services, Victoria works with a diverse range of diagnoses and ages, delivering therapy aimed at increasing independence and assisting clients reach their goals.   

Victoria completes functional assessments and reports, and aims to deliver therapy towards increasing independence in performance of everyday functional ADL’s via prescription of assistive technology and/or home modifications and other adaptive strategies.

Myah has recently joined Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. Myah completed a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2021. Myah’s area of interest is working with children with a range of physical, developmental, and psychological conditions, and she enjoys working with children and their families.  At Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services, Myah will be based out of our Corrimal clinic, providing Paediatric assessments and intervention to children of all ages in the home, school, clinic, and community settings across the Illawarra region.  Before commencing at Facilitate OT, Myah worked with children as a Gymnastics Coach, and has participated in Gymnastics since childhood.

Courtney graduated from the University of Canberra in 2021. Courtney has experience working with adults and children in a variety of physical and psychological disability in inpatient, rehabilitation, mental health, and community settings. At Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services, Courtney works with a wide range of diagnoses, ranging from intellectual and physical disabilities to age-related conditions, poor mobility, orthopaedic conditions, falls risk for adults and paediatric clients. Courtney completes prescriptions of adaptive equipment, assistive technology, comprehensive functional and environmental assessments, ADL assessments and retraining, home modifications, and adaptive strategies to improve functional performance.

While completing her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Sydney, Rachel worked as an AHA at Facilitate OT; she graduated in 2023, and is now working as an OT at the Corrimal office.  Prior to commencing her Master’s Degree, Rachel worked for over 10 years in workplace health and rehabilitation.  Rachel enjoys working collaboratively with clients to restore and maintain their physical and cognitive function, increase their independence in their activities of daily living tasks through individualised programs and intervention. Rachel’s mission is to support clients to reach their personal goals and enjoy life!

Zoe has joined Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. Zoe completed a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2023. Zoe’s area of interest is working with children and teenagers with a range of physical, developmental, and psychological conditions, and neurodivergence. At Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services, Zoe will be based at our Corrimal clinic, providing Paediatric assessments and intervention to children and teenagers in the home, school, clinic and community settings across the Illawarra region. Before commencing at Facilitate OT, Zoe worked with children, teenagers and young adults as a Disability Support Worker and coordinated a drama, music and social program for teenagers and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Karen is our Office Manager and Quality Coordinator.  She is highly organised, and ensures our administration and customer service processes run smoothly.  Karen has a strong focus on quality and continual improvement, and assists us with managing our policies, procedures and processes, in order to maintain our compliance with NDIS and other funding agency requirements.

Mei manages our Accounts, Invoicing and Payroll systems.

Karlie is available to respond to any enquiries on Mondays and Tuesdays.  Karlie provides reception and administrative support, and helps to keep our office working efficiently.

Kristen is our friendly Receptionist, who provides great customer service to make you feel welcome at Facilitate OT.  She is available to answer your queries, and will help to make any paperwork as simple as possible!

Donna assists with our Administration and Reception duties, to help keep our office running smoothly.

Kathryn is based at the Nowra office and provides administrative support for the team.  Her organization skills and attention to detail help keep the office running smoothly.

Kristin is currently in her third year of her degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Western Sydney. Kristen has experience working as a support worker with clients of all ages.  At Facilitate OT, Kristin works as an Allied Health Assistant, working with clients under the guidance of the Occupational Therapists to assist with implementing treatment plans and interventions towards goal achievement and skill development.  She has a particular interest in working with children with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Emily has been working  at Facilitate since 2022. Emily works as an Allied Health Assistant under the direction of the clients’ occupational therapist to implement treatment plans that support the client in improving their performance of everyday tasks and increase participation in a wide-range of activities. Emily has a Bachelor and Medical Science (Honours) degree and is currently undertaking her second year of the Master of Occupational Therapy program at The University of Sydney. Emily has previously worked in research and development and paediatric sleep medicine and has a particular interest in working with children with developmental disabilities and learning and coordination disorders.

At Facilitate OT, Jo works as an Allied Health Assistant working with clients under the guidance of the Occupational Therapists to assist with implementing treatment plans and interventions towards goal achievement and skill development.  Jo has experience working as a Paediatric Support Worker and Physio Allied Health Assistant. She has worked in hospital, community, and private practice settings with people of all ages. She has a particular interest in mobility, driving and social skills development.

Jess joins our Allied Health Assistant Team in Nowra with experience in the Allied Health Sector. Jess’ professional experience is in family centred care and empowering others to achieve their goals and live life to its fullest potential. She particularly enjoys working with children and young people and celebrating their achievements when overcoming challenges.
